Best Guacamole Recipe Ever!

quac

This recipe makes me smile because folks that say they don’t like Guacamole change their mind when they eat this. And the hubs eats it all day on Game days! The secret is using perfectly ripe Avocados and giving it texture with coarsely chopping the ingredients so that you get a taste of onion or tomato or Cilantro – HEAVEN!

LUCKY GAME GUACAMOLE

3-4 Ripe Avocados, cut in half, take out the fruit & SAVE THE PITS

1 Red Onion, coarsely chopped

1 Lime, rolled under your palm and cut in half

1 Large Tomato, deseeded and coarsely chopped

1 Medium Jalapeno, deseeded and diced (use gloves)

1 bunch fresh Cilantro, coarsely chopped

Tony Chachere’s Cajun Seasoning to taste

Optional topping: Sour Cream, Jalapeno Rings, Lime Slice

Quickly work with the Avocado. Cut in half, take out the pit, and scrape out the fruit out of the skin into a large mixing bowl. Using a fork, mash the avocados, squeeze half a lime over the mixture and add the pits back into the mixture. Stir well. This helps to ensure your guac doesn’t turn Black and remains a lovely green. Add the remaining ingredients and season with Tony Chachere’s Cajun Seasoning. Top with a dollop of Sour Cream, sliced Jalapeno Rings and Lime Slice to make it look awesome or just serve the Guac in all of it’s fabulousness! Serve with Tortilla Chips or add to any Mexican dish!

Ya’ll Enjoy!!!

  1. Now this is a true Guacamole recipe! Read one earlier today from the Chipotle Grill (they were releasing their “Famous Guac” recipe) I read it and laughed, was a basic beginner recipe and they didn’t even bother to de-seed the Jalapenos.
As always you two have the top shelf recipes, this one I promise will be on our table soon if I can just quit eating the darn avocados plain.
