Sweet & Tangy BBQ Marinated Chicken Breasts
This is one of the best recipes for Chicken I have done in a while. I was looking for a new marinade and didn’t have any Brown Sugar and I thought…..”My Dry Rub has Brown Sugar in it and would probably taste wonderful in a Marinade!” Well, it was and so here is my latest concoction! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Sweet Bar B Q Chicken Marinade:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup Sue’s Dry Rub for White Meat Recipe here: https://twocousinsandaskillet.wordpress.com/2015/04/14/sues-best-dry-rub-for-white-meats/
- 1 cup Vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 4 Large Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts
- OPTIONAL : 2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
DIRECTIONS:
In a large Bowl, mix Dry Rub, Oil, Soy Sauce and Vinegar well. Remove Chicken Breasts and clean well according to Chicken Safety Handling Rules. Place chicken in a 13 x 9 baking dish and slowly pour in marinade. You can add the garlic to the tops if desired. Flip over breasts coating well. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight.
When ready to cook, remove from fridge. Fire up the grill and preheat to medium high. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and do not touch them for 3 minutes. Right at 3 minutes, you flip them over and then don’t touch them for another 4 to 5 minutes. Flip them the opposite way to make a grilled pattern on the meat.
You can serve the breasts if they reach the temp of 180 degrees. Or if you are using huge breasts like I did, put them into another baking dish, cover with foil and cook at 375 degrees for 20 minutes until done.
Serve with Sweet BBQ Sauce drizzled over breasts! Ya’ll Enjoy!
