Baked Pork Chops with Mushrooms
This was so easy to make. I always keep spices on hand for recipes that I create from scratch. Super easy and delicious. We hope you enjoy it!
Keep additional spices and oil on hand to dash on mushrooms before adding to skillet.
4 boneless center-loin pork chops
3 Tb olive oil
1/2 tsp ground sage
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp sea salt
8 oz sliced Baby Bella mushrooms
Preheat oven to 350.
In a small bowl, add oil and spices. Mix well.
Dredge each pork chop in oil and spice mixture and place in a medium cast iron skillet or casserole.
To mushrooms, drizzle a little oil over and just put a dash of all spices over. Stir well.
Add mushrooms to seasoned pork chops in skillet. Drizzle a little more oil over all. Bake on middle rack of oven 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes.
