Crabmeat Stuffed Mushrooms
This crab stuffing can be used in many ways. It is also featured in a stuffed tilapia recipe available on this site as well. We hope you enjoy it.
CRAB STUFFING 2 6.5oz cans canned white crabmeat, undrained and any small shell pieces picked out 1 Tb Old Bay seasoning 1 Tb black pepper 1 egg Juice of 1/2 lemon 1/2 tsp celery salt 2 Tb chopped green onion 1-3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs MUSHROOMS Baby Bella mushrooms, rinsed, stems removed and insides cleaned out 2 Tb chopped tomato for garnishing green onion pieces for garnishing
In a medium mixing bowl, mix crabmeat, Old Bay, pepper, egg, lemon juice, celery salt and green onion.
Once stirred, add breadcrumbs and mix well. Preheat oven to 350.
Rinse mushrooms in colander.
Remove stems from each mushroom and scrape insides to form mini cups for stuffing.
Stuff each cap with stuffing. Arrange in a well-oiled skillet or baking dish. Bake 35-40 minutes. Remove from heat and garnish with green onion and chopped tomato. Y’all Enjoy!
