Whole Grain Pasta with Vegetables

1 head fresh broccoli
3 Tb chopped red onion
3 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
3 Tb chopped fresh basil
1 Tb chopped garlic
3 Tb olive oil
2 tsp sea salt
1 Tb black pepper
1/2 box whole grain pasta (or pasta of choice)
2 Tb grated parmesan cheese

Chop broccoli and basil. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped broccoli, onion and basil to skillet. Sauté until slightly softened. Add garlic, salt and pepper.

Chop tomatoes.

Add to skillet and sauté 5 minutes. Add enough water (1-2 cups) to cover bottom of pan.

Cook pasta according to instructions. Drain in colander.

Add pasta to skillet with vegetables and mix well. Top with parmesan.
