Easiest No Bake Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookie

These cookies are the easiest to make –  ever! All you have to do is watch the clock and work quick! Have all ingredients and tools ready to go and you will have cookies made in 5 minutes and ready to eat in 30 minutes! You can do SO many optional additions to it as well so make these for your family today!

Setup

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cup Crunchy peanut butter – or one HEAPING Tablespoon – as much as you can heap on a Tablespoon
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats, uncooked – in a 2 cup measuring cup, you can pour the oats to the very top of the glass. It will equal 3 cups
  • OPTIONAL: 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder, Chocolate Chips

DIRECTIONS:

In a heavy medium-size saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, and butter over Medium Heat – very important to cut up the Butter so it melts quicker. Stir constantly.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and then stir and boil for EXACTLY 3 minutes. Make sure the mixture is at a rolling boil before beginning to start the cooking timer. See Below.

Remove from the heat. Quickly stir in the vanilla extract and peanut butter until melted and then add the oats, mixing well.

Drop by teaspoonfuls or use a Melon Baller onto Parchment Paper. We like to use the Melon Baller or cookie scoop to speed up the process and create more uniform cookies.

OPTIONAL: You can place Chocolate Chips into the top of the cookie at this point so they will slightly melt into the top of the cookie. Set aside until firm approximately 30 minutes.
