Roasted Chick Peas and White Hominy
1 29 oz can chick peas (garbanzos)
1 15.5 oz can white hominy
1 tsp Zatarin’s Creole Seasoning
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp dry Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 450.
Rinse chick peas and hominy in a colander and let drain well.
Pour chick peas and hominy onto a baking sheet or large cast iron skillet. Add olive oil and all spices. Mix well.
Bake in oven for at least one hour, stirring occasionally, until crisp on outside.
