Garlic and Pesto Crusted Chicken Breasts
I wanted to try a different twist with chicken. This came out so delicious and was so easy.
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 stick butter, melted
1 Tb minced garlic
2 Tb Classico pesto
1-1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs (I used Progresso)
1 tsp ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 375.
Melt butter in a dish large enough to accompany the chicken breasts. Add garlic and pesto.
Add breadcrumbs and mix well.
One at a time, dredge chicken breasts in mix and press mixture firmly on each side, generously. Place in casserole or skillet.
Bake 45 minutes, turning halfway through.
