Spanish Rice

Spanish Rice Ingredients:

  • 2 T Butter
  • 1 Medium Sweet Onion, chopped
  • (2) Cans 14.5oz Chicken Broth
  • 1 & 1/2 Cup Long Grain White Rice
  • (1) 14.5 oz can Crushed Tomatoes
  • (1) 4 oz can diced Green Chilis
  • Chopped fresh Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 2 T Tomato Paste

Directions: In a large stockpot, saute the onion in the butter over Medium Heat until glossy and clear. Add the broth, rice,  crushed tomatoes, chilies, cilantro and salt. Stir well and cover to cook until rice is done on Low/Simmer Heat. Stir occasionally for 20-30 minutes. Stir in tomato paste and garnish with Cilantro.

Leave pot covered and put to side of the hot eye on the stove. Ya’ll Enjoy! spanish rice
